ZAMA, born Rebecca Zama, is a Haitian‑American singer, songwriter, and multidisciplinary artist who embodies the new diasporic generation. Raised in Boston within a culturally rich Haitian household, she grew up at the intersection of multiple worlds: American jazz, soulful R&B, contemporary pop, and the vibrant pulse of konpa and Afro‑Caribbean rhythms.

She began performing at the astonishing age of three, appearing on stages such as Symphony Hall, Ryles Jazz Club, Middle East Downstairs, and the Hard Rock Café. These early experiences shaped an artist whose voice carries both emotional depth and narrative intention — a voice that invites listeners into intimate, expressive spaces.

ZAMA sings in English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish, a multilingual versatility that reflects her diasporic identity and allows her to connect with diverse audiences. After an active early career, she paused her artistic journey to pursue law studies, a decision that broadened her perspective and strengthened her commitment to social impact.
